SOLID CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION
Pre-cast insulated concrete panel construction is different from other prefab construction methods in that it uses insulated concrete panels for the walls instead of materials such as steel, aluminum, or wood framing. The insulated concrete panels offer improved structural strength, a higher degree of thermal performance, more fire resistance because of concrete's noncombustible, energy efficiency, greater acoustic protection, and better durability compared to other traditional prefab construction methods.
Additionally SCDC's pre-cast insulated concrete panel construction offers other advantages over other prefab construction methods including higher resistance to weather conditions and disasters, and lower maintenance costs. Concrete is less susceptible to warping, cracking, or shifting due to temperature fluctuations, so it is better able to stand up to harsh weather conditions.
Overall concrete prefab construction is better than steel, aluminum, or wood prefab construction because it offers increased durability, higher resistance to weather and corrosion, improved fire safety, greater sound insulation, lower lifetime costs due to its longer life cycle, and better thermal efficiency.
