THE GROUND-FLOOR PATH TO BUILDING A BILLION-DOLLAR REAL ESTATE LEGACY

Hi, my name is Libbie Vaughan and this is my SCDC story.

So about five years ago, I was widowed, my husband passed away, and I was suddenly faced with the prospect of having to plan for my own retirement and my own future all by myself.

So I ended up staying in my W2 job until I hit 65, which is a couple of years ago, and I retired from that job and decided to go into real estate investing.

So I got involved in a couple of very expensive mentorship programs, and I did a couple of deals and I lost money on all of it.

So I was in a pretty low place one day when I happened to see a Facebook post in one of the mentorship pages that was posted by Wendi Thompson about the SCDC opportunity.

I scheduled a call with her.

I talked to Ryan Allison a couple of times and decided to take the plunge.

The amount to get involved was reasonable and it felt like it was.

For the first time in my life, I was in the right place at the right time and on the ground floor of something really big.

So even now, as we approach our first groundbreaking, it still feels too good to be true.

And when I tell people about it, I met with some skepticism.

But the more I hear and learn about what's been going on behind the scenes to make sure that we're successful and lay all the groundwork for our futures, the better I feel about the project.

And I feel pretty secure that we are in good hands.

These people know what they're doing and they're doing it the right way and the smart way.

As far as what this would mean for me, Oh my gosh, I would never have to worry about money again.

I could enjoy my retirement.

I could live where I, wherever I want to live, go wherever I want to go.

It would it would be amazing.

And it would mean pretty much the same thing for my two sons, who would be able to pay off their student loans, set up trust funds for their future children and secure their own futures.

I also have a few family members that are struggling right now, and I would want to help them out and get them back on their feet.

But after I take care of the people that I care about, what I would love to do is set up a nonprofit foundation to be able to help people in need in my community, my city, my state, and my country.

There's a lot of people struggling right now, and I know that I could do some good with this money.

So I just want to say thank you to Odell and all the people behind the scenes at SCDC and I feel really blessed to be a part of this journey.
